My Thoughts:
After exploring Kickstarter for like a day, I've come to the conclusion that I like it. Most of the companies on the site look very professional and it is fairly easy to weed out the ones that are not (i.e. projects that can't deliver upon rewards or their pitch).
I would also probably recommend it over Indiegogo mainly because: kickstarter doesn't have a bunch of charity/fund my life projects (professional projects only); the site layout is cleaner; the all or nothing policy assures that my money isn't taken if the project is not funded; IndieGoGo has a higher project fee (9%).
There are plenty of crowd-funding sites though, so it doesn't hurt to explore.
Here are some other projects I like:
"Dead State"- Zombie survival game
If there are any other good projects that need funding, or just look awesome, show me!

There are quite a few 3D printer projects out there on Kickstarter, I'd link you but I don't remember the name of any of them.
Pride
Yeah, those actually do look pretty awesome!
My favorite was this one : http://www.kickstarter.com/projec ts/vision3dprinter/the-vision-not -just-a-3d-printer-a-dream?ref=li ve
Unfortunately, I don't really have any uses for one just yet though :P
