Hey Guys!

Posted by Pride - March 15th, 2011

Hey guys, whats chilling playas?

Figured instead of making a new "newspost" I'd just update this one with some useful infomation regarding "Newgrounds Help."

As a former member of the NGPD, I have seen numerous stolen flashes pass judgement (due to our resident sheep) and also be flagged down by some of Newgrounds Finest :D

If your wondering how we determine if a flash is abusive/malicious/stolen here is a quick "fact/guide" I compiled to arm you all in knowledge!

Stolen-Flash/malicious-Flash Facts!

{1.} Stolen flashes usually don't cite what audio they used.

{2.} Author's comments are often unintelligible/stupid, or just butcher the "English" language in general (i.e. I TeH gRetest, cHeck oUt mah new FlaSh"

{3.} Always google/search every submission you believe to be stolen.

{4.} Smart Thieves often "title" stolen flashes with different names, than what they were originally were titled (i.e. "alien Hominid" may be changed to "Alien Wars," this actually happened lol).

{5.} Look at the email account the author used to create his Newgrounds account (example if he submits a Games2rule game and has a Games2rule.com email he obviously created the game).

{6.} If it's stolen from "Youtube" the thieves sometimes don't format the video correctly (like if you see those funky white bars around the video).

{7.} Look for author comments that say "I just created this yesterday :D", then google the "flash in question" and see if you can find evidence that it was created a year ago (winning).

{8.} Check the Author's History/track record (meaning does this guy have a history in creating flashes, or is it his first time) if you believe it is stolen.

{9.} If all else fails and the stolen flash passes judgment send a pm to Wade entitled "Newgrounds Help- Stolen Flash passes Judgment"

{10.} Obviously if a flash contains actual excessive/hateful pornographic material (sex/rape) flag that sucka down, there are kids on this site lol.

Anyway hope this little guide helps y'all out (mind you some of the information varies depending on the situation, so use logic).

Likewise if you have any questions regarding a stolen flash, abusive review, or something FAQ related feel free to send me a pm and I'll check it out as soon as I can.

Or if you are interested in joining the NGPD led by the current Commissioner Tails, I invite you to make a post on the NGPD Thread. The NGPD is always looking for new members who strive to keep our portal clean, just make a post stating why you want to join the illustrious brotherhood (XD).

Current qualifications for joining:

+ Your badge (must be between Security Guard 400-499 b/p and Police Captain 2000-2499 b/p)
+ Post count (minimum of 50 posts so we know you've at least been to the forums)
+ Post quality* (educated posts, no one-liners)

Anyway thats it fellas,

Toodles ;)

TLDR:I hate you
